The elastic was long enough that it could accommodate larger heads, animal or human. It would be too big for a kitten, I think, and it does slide down quite easily but it stays up long enough to take photos which is essentially what this is all for lol. Don't forget to give them all the treats after said photos.

Good for pictures

The adjustment strap doesn’t work very well on my cat, it just isn’t able to fully be tightened. But otherwise it’s a pretty good hat.
